Sharing of Folk Stories by Grandparents
Stories form an integral part of a child’s life. It is believed that
grandparents are the best story tellers. So, we invited grandparents from
grades 3, 4 and 5 to be a part of this project which helped our students to
learn by way of story-telling session with grandparents.
It was delightful to witness the grandparents narrate stories to children with such fervor and enthusiasm. The children were overjoyed to have their grandparents narrate stories at school. They shared their folk stories related to their tradition and personal experience.
